Where do we start?
It all begins with a consultation - unlike some some other companies, we really want to make sure you get the van of your dreams.
Before signing anything, we begin each campervan build with a consultation. This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions and for us to go through the design questions and process details with you.
Once this is completed, we will go through the quote, payment process and build schedule with you.
Make it
Once a design has been agreed and a deposit has been paid, your campervan conversion will occur over four stages:
Stage 1 (6 weeks before) - Deposit paid and ordering takes place.
Here all the ordering takes place so that you camper conversion can start as soon as your camper rolls into the workshop! Meaning that any delays are minimised and avoided.
Stage 2 - Insulation, external fittings and 1st electrical fit.
The second stage of the campervan conversion is where the build really starts! Here, panels are sound deadened and fulling insulated to make your campervan as comfortable as possible! At this point, any windows will be fitted, the Maxx Air fan will be installed and any skylights added if required.
Once complete, the 1st fit electrical work will begin, including running any needed wires into the engine bay and through the ceiling for later installations.
Stage 3 - Floor, wall, bulkhead and ceiling fitting as well as framing.
Now your walls, floor and ceiling are in insulated, all sides will be panelled ready for any framing that needs to take place. The bed will be framed as well as any benches and the bathroom if required.
Stage 4 - Furniture building, appliance and bathroom installation.
Be far the most exciting stage of the build, this is where it really comes together! Furniture within the kitchen will be built as well as any other furniture within the camper. The bathroom will be waterproofed and water utilities added. Shelves will be built if needed and any optional storage builds will be completed. Finally, all appliances will be installed into your camper ready for the next stage.
Stage 5 - Electrical wiring, plumbing and heating installation and finishing touches.
The final stage involves the final electrical fix, fitting the water heater (if chosen) and any other plumbing, including installation of the water tanks and pump. Next, the heating system is installed to heat your campervan on those cold winter days. Finally, tile choices, flooring, and any other finishing touches are completed ready for you to collect your new dream campervan!
